Hello Community,

So i got a problem for some time now.

When i play for some time, sometimes as low as 45 minutes, my audio output just stops. Software and mp3 are working fine, and i can control everything but there is no sound.

I think its a hardware problem but maybe someone has a other solution.

My setup is a S4Mk3 and Traktor pro 3.11.17

Thinkpad E14 Windows 11pro
i7 13700H, 48GB Ram

Thanks!

    Hello,

have you tried another usb cable, another usb port, have you tried to just play some long audio files through the interface?

Is your crossfader disabled on the switches on the front of the s4? Im trying to determine if this is an issue as i encountered the problem shortly after disabling mine and curious about others settings…

Trying different cables, different ports, even with multiple add on cards, ensuring usb settings (power etc), optimal asio settings, isnt resolving this issue for anyone. I’ve only read anecdotally that using admin to launch can reduce the occurrence which im trying now as well as trying to discover if its to do with the crossfader hardware switches/software bug as this occurs on both pc and mac which would negate OS issues…
