Downloading to an external SSD

Bought Complete 15 Ultimate. Downloading now to a MacBook Pro. I have 1 TB of internal HD so I bought a 2 TB external SSD however during the installation process it never gave me the option to choose the external SSD as a destination.
From online exploring it seems some of the download should stay on the internal HD and I can move all the rest to the external SSD. If this is true, where would I find a list of what should be moved and what shouldn't?
Thanks in advance.

Use latest version of Native Access for your OS
You set the 'Content' and Download paths in Native Access file management part of settings to your external drive. And leave apps (and plugins) at default locations (system drive).

it's mostly rather simple if you look in Native Access then the Applications (e.g. Kontakt) and Effects (plugins) goes to default location system drive and the rest is Content. But you are trying to 'micro-manage' what you should not micro-manage. All you need to do is to do the above : "You set the 'Content' and Download paths in Native Access file management part of settings to your external drive. And leave apps (and plugins) at default locations (system drive). "
You can use the N.A. library sort to get an overview , but after having set paths in N.A. settings then just leave the rest to N.A.
If you already installed some content to internal drive then move (not copy) it to external drive and then check articles linked to below here :

Thank you, it seems all has been downloaded, most to the HD and the rest to the SSD
Now I'm unable to get the s49 software into it. Ill open that in a new post.
