That will make my maschine mk2 incompatible right?

So I would be stuck with a Mk2 without a DAW?

Tbh the way I am making beats I Don't really need the Mk2. I am find dragging and dropping the DAW.

Will Native Access have a fit if I try and use the already installed Maschine 2.0 with mk2 on one hard drive and then install Maschine 3.0 DAW on another and use them separately?

(Not sure if Native access will even allow me to have the 2 software in it's program without overwriting/replacing the maschine 2.0 software when i pay to upgrade)

Here is what I want to focus on and learn how to do.

Focus on : Making 4/8/16 bar patterns/loops to spit my own lyrics too.
Learning how: To chop up and cut samples and add them to my beats for melodys like all the good boom bap producers.

Thoughts/opinions?

Thanks in Advance!

Maschine 2 will continue to work and you keep your license for it. Upgraded to 3 myself and version 2 is still available and working.

Only point I am not sure about is if Maschine 2 would still install on macOS Sequoia as I didn‘t had to try this yet.

I’ve got both versions installed on sequoia, obviously can’t tell you how long maschine 2 will work past sequoia

And yes the mk2 controller is not supported in version 3
