Can't see Maschine+ SD card on PC

Hi all - I have done this successfully before but this morning it doesn't seem to work and I 'm stumped. I made a project in standalone mode whilst I was away from home this week. I now want to continue working on it in the Maschine 3 software. I'm starting the M+ in standalone mode, then entering Storage mode, where the SD card would normally appear as an external drive on my PC, however it's not there. I know the M+ is connected to the PC properly because it's working ok as a controller if I switch to Controller mode and use a project that was already in Machine 3 on the PC. HELP!!!!

    Hi tetsuneko

Thanks for your response and apologies for my late reply but I've been away with work. I managed to sort it out by swapping the usb cables over between my maschine plus and my A49 controller keyboard. Bizarrely, it appears that whilst both cables work, the one that was plugged into the M+ didn't allow the PC see the M+ SD card, although it did allow the M+ to work fine in controller mode!!! Now that same cable is being used to connect the A49 keyboard and that is working fine. The cable I took from the A49 that is now connecting the M+ to the PC has allowed the SD card to show up without an issue. I must say I don't understand it but I suppose I'll accept it!

Anything changed on your PC? OS updates or anything of the sort?

Can you get the SD card mounted on any other device?

Well done on solving it, and thanks for posting the solution. A cable swap is always worth trying.
