Kontakt 8 Player not installing
This has been an issue for a while now, and all of the other solutions do not fix my problem.
What happens is that I install it, it says it has downloaded but when I go to look at my library it still says "Install" and does not show anywhere on my desktop or on the NI Uninstall RegTool. Sometimes it also just says "Install Failed".
I have Native Access 3.17.0 and I have re-installed it 3 times now.
I am using Windows 11 with 7GB of space left in my main drive.

UPDATE: It seems to have fixed itself after 15 tries of trying to install.

A little confused with this statement:

What library? Kontakt is an application/plugin - not a library.
Would help to see exactly what your "Kontakt" view looks like (under Installed) in Native Access - screencap would really help.

I'm taking about Native Access, specifically the Home or Library section.
Didn't realise the picture would be so big but this is what I mean.

This could be a space issue - as every item in Native Access - requires 3x the advertised space to correctly install - so in this case you would need almost 4GB - just to get the download, unpack it and then install it.
But - I would expect NA to throw an error about available space if this was the case.
This is an interesting one - might need a look-see from NI Support.

Hello EllisAndCo, downloading and installing are two different things based on the Native Access. What happens when you click the "Install" option. do you directly get the "Installation Failed" message? Have you tried restarting your Native Access?

Hey!
When I click the install option, it starts the install. Once it completes, it says "Installation Failed". Recently though, it's been saying that it succeeded but it hasn't even installed. I have tried restarting Native Access and it didn't work.
This seems to happen every update, but I fixed it last time by uninstalling Kontakt 8 and re-installing. This hasn't seemed to work this time, and caused things to get worse.0 -
