Why can't I install Kontakt 8 player?

Hello, I am getting an error trying to install Kontakt 8 player. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling Native Access, downgrading to NA1 (installation of that also fails), allowing full disk permissions, scouring the disk for any files related to NI to delete, restart, try again, fail again.

If you are using Mac M1 and Mac OS 15.1.1 then you need to use latest version of Native Access for your OS.

Also then I don't have a Mac but the 15.1.1 that is mentioned on your profile does not sound as the latest and if not then you need to update to latest version OS also.

Else then some common Mac advice is :

ALL NI apps including NTKDaemon must have full disk access. : How to Enable Full Disk Access on macOS

and disks must be of correct format : Notes on Network Drives and Disk Formats

Also then please check that iCloud Private Relay has been turned off : Native Access Error Message:"Download failed" (macOS)

And quote Kymeia : if using Sequoia then N.I. apps must be added to the Local Network

Else please confirm computer type and OS version and give more details including exact error (screenshot of error)

I also have the download link for KONTAKT 8.1.0 , but that is not newest version and you still should get your problem fixed.

in case of download problems then try logging in into Google first, if that doesn't help then copy the download to own Google drive before the download.

The above ought to help you circumvent the download limit.
