Additional infos, because I saw the same answers/suggestions a few times.

Yes, I got the correct update, to Komplete 15 Standard from the store. My eligibilty was through Reaktor 4 on my account, said something like "best for you" and got the green checkmark.

Initially I wanted to upgrade from Kontakt 3 to Kontakt 8 (showed green checkmark for a 99.- Update) but then I saw for 159.- I can get Komplete 15 Standard, with the eligible product on my account being Reaktor 4.

So this seemed like a good deal, got the 159.- update to Komplete 15 Standard, and after purchase, it showed up as an unregistered serial in my license list on the website account.

My old licenses show up as "registered" (Kontakt 1.5. Kontakt 3 update, Reaktor 4) on web.

If you purchased via the NI Shop - the serial registration occurs instantly (as long as you were logged in) when you made the purchase.

    The other critical pieces are:

    What OS are you running?

    What version of Native Access?

Questions regarding your eligibility can only be addressed via NI Purchase Support - found here:

I have to say that this sounds to me as if you bought the wrong thing. If you 'only' have Kontakt 3 and Reaktor 4 then you might need a Cross-grade , but I am not sure. as VP already pointed out then you will have to sort it out with N.I. Purchase Support

I do think though that your decision to upgrade to Komplete 15 Standard were the right one . That usually gives you the best deal by far to buy the bundle , especially if bought at a sale (Compare Komplete 15 bundles ) .

All registered serials showing up in my web account.
None showing up in NI access

Products will not show in Native Access if not compatible with your OS, and also then if they are legacy products then you might still have to turn on show legacy products in Native Access.

    Thanks,

I turned on show legacy products in Native Access (latest version, all installed yesterday) - no difference. None of my legacy products show up.

I specifically bought the right update to Komplete, given the fact it showed "Reaktor 4" being my green checkmarked product that gives me eligibility for the Komplete update, it is exactly what I bought. If it's a hiccup in their system, I don't know, they sold me exactly this upgrade path.

it basically said as user of REAKTOR 4 you can install this version, and right below Recommended: UPDATE TO KOMPLETE 15 STANDARD with a ✅ for 159.-"

so there is absolutely no doubt I got the correct thing, as their system was telling me, this is the correct thing. Yet, it does not activate and my base products are no where in NI Access.

Well - here is the official list of "qualifying" products to obtain ANY Komplete 15 upgrade or update:

Notice that there is no mention of Reaktor anywhere here. See the link below

Qualifying Base Products for Komplete Updates and Upgrades – Native Instruments

If you did manage to wedge this thru the shop - somehow based on your ownership of Reaktor 4 (which seems very odd to me) - you will need Purchase Support to look into this - because it should not be possible.

Well I got Kontakt 3 on my account, so it should have worked either way. that list strangely doesn't mention Reaktor 4 as the qualifier, although the webshop showed me specifically my Reaktor 4 as the qualifier, not my Kontakt 3.

Either way, it didn't work, and so far I got nothing back on my ticket, and there doesn't seem to be a workaround on my end. Thanks for the input though!

I have been with NI since 2002 and have never seen Reaktor be part of anything - except an upgrade to itself as a qualifier. It must have been your Kontakt 3 - which is the only thing that makes sense.

One other thing that does not make sense is the price you scored. I am a Komplete 14 ULT license holder and even I were to purchase a Komplete Standard 15 "upgrade" today (which would actually be a bit of a downgrade for me) - my price is still $149.00USD / 207.20CDN

That you were able to score a K15 Standard Upgrade - based only on a Kontakt 3 license - for $159.00 (assuming USD) is a major score.

Tried registered the serials in NI access. Getting success mesage over and over, but Kontakt 3 and Reaktor 4 never show up for download or as registered in NI Access.

I bought the suggested Update to Komplete 15, based on the valid (Green) license in my account of Reaktor 4 suggested as base product.
Now the update can't be registered either because missing base product (Reaktor 4)

This confused me initially to a degree where I am not sure if I understood your correctly, I mean if you first registered the Komplete 15 Standard successfully and then later it says base product missing. Or if you were referring to registering the Kontakt 3 and Reaktor 4 serial and later refers to registering the K15S.

Anyway , what often happens is that there is some mishap with respect to what account that people are logged into. So you should first check with your MY PRODUCTS, SERIALS, AND DOWNLOADS page and see what you have listed listed as either Not registered or as Registered Products , and then be sure that you are logged into the same correct account in Native Access as well.

it basically said as user of REAKTOR 4 you can install this version, and right below Recommended: UPDATE TO KOMPLETE 15 STANDARD with a ✅ for 159.-"

I do not doubting that that is what you experienced , but still I do not quite get it, What VocalPoint has listed is a list of qualifying products for both upgrades and cross grades. And immediately I would have expected that you qualified for a cross-grade (more expensive) rather than an upgrade but it is possible that Kontakt 3 helped , I am not sure. Anyway we do not have to discuss this since either it works or you have to ask N.I. Purchase Support or N.I. Native Access and Installation Support for help.

Generally then be sure that you have downloaded and are using latest version of Native Access for your OS else try resetting the Native Access XML file , look at section 8 here : My Product is Missing in Native Access .

And if that doesn't work then ask N.I. Purchase Support (no qualifying base product) or N.I. Native Access and Installation Support(registered products does not show in N.A.) or N.I. Account Support (in case you have registered something to wrong account or have two accounts that you needs merged) for help.

In case that you need guidance contacting support : Please read : how to get support !

Not based on a Kontakt 3 license, my update price to Komplete was based on a Reaktor 4 license, $159

Things got even stranger. Now, after my purchase, when I log into the store, the "Best for me" option to get Komplete now suggests I pay full price—on top of what I already paid for the update from Reaktor 4 to Komplete 15 Standard. 🤔 Interestingly, my Reaktor 4 license no longer appears as a qualifier for any update, so it seems my discount qualifier was wiped out with the purchase. That’s weird—really weird.
Keep in mind, I still have both Kontakt 3 and Reaktor 4 listed in my registered serials, but they’re still not showing up in Native Instruments (NI) Access. I suspect that if I could somehow activate my Reaktor 4 in NI Access, I might be able to apply the Komplete 15 Standard code I purchased, as it was clearly marked as a valid update path in the store.

Also, I did some digging and found multiple instances of Reaktor and Kontakt as base qualifiers for getting Komplete at a discount. See pdf and the article from Sweetwater. So yeah, I definitely wasn't hallucinating.

Did some searching and found instances of updates for Kontakt AND Reaktor users to Komplete, so I did not imagine this path and it`s still in the shop backend, or it wouldn't have offered me the purc

    hase.

You do not need to activate any old legacy products in Native Access to qualify for any purchases in the store. Your existing NI Acct listing determines all upgrade angles.

And as far as your existing Reaktor 4 and Kontakt 3 licenses - I do not believe either of these are possible to activate now. They are from another time and used Native Access v1 which is now retired.

Your only option now is to get your “correct” Komplete 15 Standard upgrade (based on your Kontakt 3 qualifier) at the correct price and move ahead from there.

If you want to try it, Native Access 1 is not retired yet. You can find it here:

    https://support.native-instruments.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000407909-Native-Access-Legacy-Installers-for-Older-Operating-Systems

But you have to be fast, since it won’t last for long

Tried and installed this, thanks. It actually gives me the "successfully registered" for my Reaktor 4.

however: It's still not showing up anywhyere in NI Access 1 or 2.

And the "Komplete Standard" Serial key still doesn't activate.

See here for what happened to all "legacy" product - like Reaktor 4 for example:

Service Center and Legacy Products End of Life – Native Instruments

While it appears you managed to get the actual R4 "serial" into your account (judging by the screencap) - that does not translate into that product being available for "activation" within Native Access.

According to the link above - Reaktor 4 cannot be activated by either NAv1 or NAv2.

I would focus your attention on working with support on the Komplete 15 Standard item in your account.

It is the only product listed above that will appear in Native Access 3.17.0 - once you actually get the product fully registered. The only hoop is IF support determines that any of your existing product - (which - now that I see your listing - am slightly doubtful) actually qualifies for a Komplete upgrade.

This is your only option - save buying a license for Komplete 15 Standard straight up.

NOTE: Your prior long post regarding the "Shop back end", "Sweetwater" and "Komplete 6 Upgrade for Reaktor Users" etc WAS most certainly valid a decade ago - but does not apply to this scenario here in 2025. If Reaktor 4 was a qualifier - it would be listed as such here:

Qualifying Base Products for Komplete Updates and Upgrades – Native Instruments

And speaking about Reaktor 4 - can you please help me understand this?

In your first post on this thread, you state the following:

Yet in your post prior to this one - you walk us through a successful registration of Reaktor 4 to your web account using Native Access v1. So, which is it?

Was Reaktor 4 already previously IN your NI account as your first post stated - or did you just add it in the post prior to this one?

If it is the latter - it was not possible that Reaktor 4 was a base product for a Komplete upgrade - since it was not in your web account when you purchased your Komplete Upgrade in the NI Shop.

Also - to my knowledge - end of life products (like Reaktor 4) have never been qualifiers for Komplete upgrades. The only product in your account that I can see having any chance for an Komplete upgrade is the Kontakt 1.5/Kontakt 3 Update items

Hope you get this worked out.

True. However, the info box in NI Access tells me the opposite when I enter the serial from my web account. It says "success" for activating Reaktor 4, and the same for my Kontakt 3 serial. I can repeat the process and get the same "success" message, but it never actually sticks. This happens consistently across both versions of NI Access—I tried version 2, then installed version 1 to test it there, and now I’m back on version 2, with no difference.
Here’s my theory: My "base product," Reaktor 4, which is registered in my web account and somehow made me eligible for the Komplete update recommendation in the shop (which I purchased), isn’t being recognized by NI Access. Because of this, I can’t apply my purchased Komplete update in NI Access. It seems NI Access doesn’t "know" I have Reaktor 4—despite me entering the serial a dozen times—and that’s why I can’t activate Komplete.

Same when I use "Add Serial" putting my Kontakt 3 in:

This is just the same "success" popup from trying my luck with the legacy v1 NI Access app:

—> I assumed that "successfully registered to NI Access" actually meant it's going to show up in my downloadable library, but apparently, it didn’t. However, my old registered serials in my web account for R4 + K3 have been there for many years.

You mentioned never seeing Reaktor used as a qualifier for anything, so I searched if Reaktor 4 had ever been a qualifier for something. I came across a Sweetwater page and the linked PDF that confirmed Reaktor was indeed a special qualifier for Komplete in the past—before it appeared as a qualifier for the Komplete update I ended up purchasing. Clearly, this qualification path is still buried somewhere in the shop’s system; otherwise, it wouldn’t have offered me the update I bought?

    Regarding your question:

—> Yes, my account is many years old and I had Kontakt 3 and Reaktor 4 registered there for an eternity. Took a long break from audio. I just never used any version of the NI Access app in the meantime.

So far my comeback experience with getting recent NI software to work, is exactly the same headache inducing mess it's been when I left.

—>True, I won't be able to fix this with theories and trying to activate old licenses. I hope support can figure this out and and make my Komplete work. Thank you for all your input! I hope support gets it sorted out. I spent a lot of time on this activation problem already.
