Maschine+ not connecting to the software after 3.1.0 software update

I am running Logic Pro 11 on an iMac (Intel i7, Ventura 13.7.4, 64g ram). I was trying to test the Ableton Link feature. Here are the steps:

  1. Launch Maschine+ 3.1.0 (with a project loaded)
  2. Turn on Ableton Link
  3. Launch Logic Pro 11
  4. Turn on Ableton Link

After enabling "AbletonLink" in Logic Pro 11, the software responds and the programs seem to be in sync. However, my Maschine+ controller goes dark and no longer controls the Maschine software running on the computer. In fact, I cannot get the controller to operate at all, not even able to enter 'controller' mode or any control at all. The only button that is lit is the power button.

Additionally, when launching Logic Pro after a Machine project is open and working, the Maschine+ goes dark immediately even without trying to use Ableton Link. I can, however, still start/stop/edit etc. the Maschine Project in the software on my computer - Logic just shuts down the controller when launched.

When opening Maschine3 as a plugin (in Logic) the controller stays dark and does not respond. Seems like this new update has shut down compatibility with Logic and the Maschine+ controller. This is a huge problem since I have many projects that include Maschine 3 as a plugin.

Ideas? Thx, Kelly

I have exactly the same problem, before the update it was working just fine, it still works if I run Maschine SW only, but I have my projects in logic.

Sorry you are having the same problem… let's hope NI addresses this soon. There must be many people that are experiencing this.

Thanks, Tom! I checked earlier today and it wasn't updated.
