Yes. Totally sure.

Looks like I'll be testing it on a sacrificial system first then.

I found the solution you need to go to Application folder - Native access and click to show the package content /Applications/Native Access.app/Contents/Resources/daemon/Mac and click NTKDaemon .... and instal it it helped me

I am having the same issue on Windows 10. Installing the NTKDaemon doesn't seem to help here.

@paulcheck I've updated the post. If this doesn't work you'll have to downgrade to Native Access 1:

2.6.2 still throws the same error. Suggestions given here do not work, and suggestions given by Support did not work. Will this ever get fixed?

@pranaearth It was fixed for 2.5 for some and got broken again with 2.6. The Native Access team is working on a solution. So, yes the aim is to fix it. Sorry for the trouble!

Jeremy NI:
Was able to recover the email eventually. It merely recommended processes I had spent hours trying and they ALL failed. The alleged cleanup script fails with a "zsh: command not found" message.
Had some initial luck with using NI access 2.6, however it automatically upgrades and then, of course, fails at the dependencies issue again.
I just downgraded to a NI Access version 1, which allowed me to begin downloading on the older version. I fully expect this will auto-update itself and become, once again, unusable.

Jeremy NI:
I spoke too soon, hours downloading, to only receive yet ANOTHER install message, related to 'privileges' AGAIN:
Had numerous Izotope updates waiting as well, all installed with no errors.
Only NI presently having issues, of all my products.

I thought it was resolved. The issue I'm having is that it works for a while. Then the "dependency" error reappears. I have to keep reinstalling the NTKDaemon package. Makes zero sense. Please fix this once and for all. Ever since 2.0 came out it's been a fiasco.
