Hi,

I am curently running my maschine mk3 with my z1 mk2…maschine is link to traktor 4 pro and the maschine audio is using the z1 mk2 audio driver

I can dj using the z1 and i can play maschine on the top of the track but the sound from the maschine go through the z1 master output only, i cannot listen maschine through my headphone conected to my z1….

Is it a way to assigned maschine to one of the channel of the z1 mk2, so i can preview the sound in my headphone first and mix it accordingly?

Any feedback would be much appreciated!

thx

You should setup Maschine Cue output in Maschine Audio settings

Setting the machine output to cue does not solve your problem - you will then essentially hear the same signal as on the master.

For this you need an extra Line In Input Channel with Cue function what the Z1 doesn't have.

Ok thx for the feedback, so it is not possible to assign an external digitoul source to z1, in the rounting setting of traktor there is the option to assign 4 input to the four channel but maschine doesnt show up on the scroll down menu....

I didn’t mean to set up Maschine output to cue, but to set up where Cue “sends”. You do that in the mixer, Master channel, selecting the headphones icon and selecting where it sends.

As an example, you can have Maschine Out 1 (L & R) setup to the main out and Maschine Out 2 (L & R) setup to the headphones. Putting the Master to Ext 1 and the Cue to Ext 2, toggling the Cue in Groups (or Sounds) will send them to the different outputs

Yes, it's not possible to set in in the Traktor Audio In/Out Preferences- sadly
