Purchasing used Maschine MK3 (eBay) of unknown ownership through third party

Hi Community,

I'm a prospective owner-to-be of a Maschnie MK3 and am curious if I can still register it with NI? Not sure how all this works nor what bundled software would be on the unit as part of 'factory' setting.

Also would I still be able to get support if the original owner did not relinquish their license?

Yes, they will need to provide you with a hardware license and a software license. Don't purchase if they can't provide through transfer on purchase.

Also, all they need from you to complete the transaction is your email… don't give out any other personal info.

the mk3 came with maschine 2 software , if you didn’t get a transfer ID for the software you can contact support and they might be ble to help you , you’ll need to provide a copy of the receipt and a photo of the hardware serial , or something

If you get no success, you can buy a maschine 3 software license outright , you’d have to pay to upgrade if you had the maschine 2 license albeit at a lower price
