Longer backspin with Kontrol S2 MK3?

Too bad none of us have an s2 to test. You will need to do all the testing.

So, after discovering a few mistakes (thx @pixel ), here is the next version to test. All previous version didn't work fully because certain switches where missing.

THank you guys, i will try it out today should have some freer time. I agree would be m,uch more practical to have the controller when trying hellp others and especially writing new mappings etc. Thanks for your hepl

Could it be that you want an animation like a wheel of fortune?🤣 (jogwheel.touch + jogwheel.rotation then jogwheel.touch: onRelease) = it moves fast in the desired direction for a certain time/distance and then automatically slows down?

if so, this will not work with the code.😜

HI, Yes. First off I want to thasnk you for all your hard work and in tackling this. I would say its a substantial improvement with a few caveats. It does indeed seem to extend a back spin however its still id say no where near as realistic sounding and accurate as Im accustomed to., One thing I noticed is it seems to sound higher pitched that it should not qwuite sure why that is. The other thing is the play button flashing thing just keeps flashiung. Also, I don't use sync and hence beatmatch manually and often when adjustyign the platter i have noticed it seems to stop the deck thinking Im scratching where as ity didn't do this prior. Im surprised more users of this deck haven't chimed in here so we have a sample size of more than one. I think you're on the right track (pun intended) Side note is this layout on this deck is annoying I'm constantly hitting the temp fader when working thje deck beat matching and theres other buttons in wahy too when back spinning. So it doesn't lend itself to easily spinning the deck without hitting knpbs as i do often.

I will put in a safety which i may have missed. The accuracy is really hard to get right. I have no way of influencing the sound; KEYLOCK = OFF is important here.

I am not a scratch DJ so any of those reading this, chime in.

Ahhhh never thought of the key lock being possible culprit. Strange never had to p[previously. Im definitely not a scratch Dj either. I d\j mostly Electronic music. Progressive house, organic house and the likes.

Yup, that's me too, plus hard tek and dubstep. But it's always a good thing to try something new. To be honest, about half of the Traktor FX suite has been sitting there unexplored by me. I know there are some jewels hidden to spice up a track or transition. :)
