NA never shows an installed product as 'installed'. Why?

NINA has caused a monstrous amount of problems for well over a year now and, following de-installing everything with Revo and cleaning the register of everything I can find, I updated NINA and then started with the simple Kontakt installs.

Same damn problem. Nothing ever shows as having been installed. It just lists it as 'install' as if it hasn't been. Of course, this also means that I can update anything because it never shows any updates as being available.

I have combed the web over and over again to find a solution but nothing I have tried works. Does anyone know how to fix this. I'll forgo my rant about how much bloody time NINA has cost me over time…..

Asus ProArt Z690 Creator WiFi
Asus RTX 3080
Be quiet Dark Power Pro 12 (1200w)
Trident Z5 DDR5-5600 16GBx4
Intel i9-12900KF
Asus Ryujin II AIO cooler
Sabrent NVMe M.2 Rocket 4.0 2TB drive (os)
Corsair NVMe M.2 Gen3x4 8TB drive (user)
Win11Pro
(note: os and os-user files were orginally installed on two different drives for reasons related to the content creation purpose for this computer). There are additional drives on this computer but it seems unnecessary to mention them as they are not likely to be germane to the current problem.

    Also, there are no error messages — in fact, the product icon does respond in a working fashion.

    I should also have pointed out that I'm using NINA 3.16 . . . .
