Where did you buy K15 Standard? And - "what" exactly did you buy? An Update? An Upgrade? This message is clearly looking for a base product in your NI account and will not install without it.

Assuming this is a K15 Standard "upgrade" - you will need at least of these items in your NI Acct:

If you do not have any of these - not exactly sure what you bought or why you bought it…

Ah - I see. Unfortunately - you will need to wait until the hardware arrives.

Your Komplete 15 is a combo - tied to your new MKIII. The hardware has it's own serial - which once registered to your account - will open the door to all your stuff.

but wouldn’t that be include without the hardware because the hardware is suppose to come with select anyways and I paid extra for the full software

The error you are getting is valid.

And no - the "Select" theory only applies to someone who simply bought a standalone keyboard. They will get Select as a bonus - just for buying the board.

But in your case - you purchased a very tasty and specially priced Cyber Season "combo" license (MKII board + Komplete 15 Standard) which bonds the keyboard and this version of Komplete together - as they were purchased together. This is not a standalone Komplete license.

The error you are getting is because you believe this is a standalone Komplete license - when in fact it is very specific and there is no qualifying "product" in your account to use that specific K15 serial.

I am 100% sure the "product" it is actually looking for - will be the registered product serial to your new MKIII keyboard.

Very common scenario - and usually not a thing since I do not come across a lot of users who want to register the software first.

I totally get the excitement factor and that you want to dig in here :) but you will get a card in the box of the MKIII - with your hardware serial - once that is registered - you will be good to go.

Thank you for answering my question. I still think I should have gotten the software separately but i guess I’m out stuck until it arrives.

Pues es una estupidez que te habiliten descargar un producto que no puedes usar, es realmente no tiene sentido, es un burla, hasta pierde seriedad, es tan sencillo hacer ajustes en la página web para que todo se haga como se debe, o cuando vas a comprar un automóvil te pasan las llaves y luego de 2 semanas recibes tu auto ? es una estupidez, lo siento native instrument pero esto es una burla a la gente que deposita confianza en ustedes… horrible… 👿 me veo en la obligación de advertir a toda habla hispana esto.
