I read this note but it's unclear if I can install Native access on my M4 mac only to use Kontakt for the moment :

Load the latest version of Native Access and you'll have no problem with Kontakt. I'm using a Mac Mini M4 Pro with 15.2 and it works perfectly.

You can check compatibility here - https://support.native-instruments.com/hc/en-us/articles/13671802084765-macOS-15-Sequoia-Compatibility-Statement. Most of the main products (Kontakt/Maschine/Traktor) are fully supported as is most recent hardware.

That's not what you initially asked , and I took it obvious that you knew, but since you ask then Nativa Access is a prerequisite for using all N.I. software in as much as that it is used for downloading and activating all the N.I. software. With respect to Kontakt 7/8 then as far as I know then Kontakt also relies on information from Native Access for some installation info and Native Access is also needed to install your N.I. Kontakt libraries.

So yes ! , Native Access is needed .

It's a work in progress , but a few users are already using Sequoia , though from what I have seen then some of the experienced Mac users recommends to stay on Mac OS 12 to 14 until N.I. reports full compatibility with latest Mac OS.

Thank you but It was not my question. In fact, I bought a new MAC and the OS is SEQUOIA by default :)

P.S.

If using Mac then first (before above) do all the Mac users must do when using N.I. software ? :

ALL NI apps including NTKDaemon must have full disk access. : How to Enable Full Disk Access on macOS and disks must be of correct format : Notes on Network Drives and Disk Formats

Also then please check that iCloud Private Relay has been turned off : Native Access Error Message: "Download failed" (macOS)

Also then do not use Clean My Mac.

And quote Kymeia : if using Sequoia then N.I. apps must be added to the Local Network
