Maschine mk3 - missing groups?

Hi,

I just got myself a Maschine mk3. I'm looking forward to using it, but it seems that I cannot see stuff from my komplete ultimate collection like Abbey Road drum kits. This is despite that Maschine 3.0.1 has read all my stuff into the library:

So, the question it what am I doing wrong? Shouldn't these present themselves in the browser?

Thanks :)

The Abbey Road kits are in the browser, just not where you expect! They're under the "All Instruments" section as they're actually a Kontakt instrument and not a sample library.

That's great! Thanks :) Now I just need to learn how to use them with the box. The pads do not seem to be configured for anything…

Using Abbey Road Drums under Maschine will be the same as using it under Kontakt, so you'll be using notes to trigger the drums and different grooves rather than using the usual grid.

I think we're getting closer… I tried to follow this guide, but no dice on any sounds when hitting the pads…

    Hi,

I did that already. I can only get pad 1 to make a sound when I'm in "Pad Page C".

Not quite sure whats going on there, Abbey Road kits have a massive key range.

In MIDI Mode the Group buttons changes the octaves.

In Maschine Mode press Keyboard than the top buttons #5 and #6

Good to know. That just doesn't work for some reason.

I think I got some sound out of it now :) The Keyboard had to be selected like you said :) Thanks for that.

Now on to re-mapping the sounds… Any idea where to look for this?
