How can I enable the Shift Page functionality on my Kontrol F1 using Rebekah's custom mapping

Hi everyone,

I’m having trouble setting up my Traktor Kontrol F1 using Rebekah’s custom mapping, and I’d appreciate your advice. Here’s what’s happening:

  1. I successfully imported the Rebekah Traktor Mapping.tsi and Rebekah Effect Settings.tsi files into Traktor. The Basic Page of the mapping works fine, and all controls respond as expected.
  2. However, when I press the Shift button on the F1 to access the Shift Page, all 16 pads light up yellow, and none of them respond to input.
  3. I checked the Controller Manager:
    • The Assignment Table appears as expected for the Basic Page.
    • For the Shift Page, there seems to be no functional response.
  4. In the Controller Editor, the pad color yellow is set to "Off", which seems to indicate the pads are inactive. Is there a way to activate them, or am I missing something in the configuration?

What I’ve Tried:

  • I verified the ports are correctly set to Traktor Kontrol F1 in the Controller Manager.
  • I reimported the mapping files in the order: Rebekah Traktor Mapping.tsi first, followed by Rebekah Effect Settings.tsi.
  • I loaded the .nckf1 file in the Controller Editor and checked the settings, but the issue persists.
  • I tested the Shift button modifier, but there’s no functional response.

System Info:

  • Traktor version: 4.1.1 23
  • OS: macOS Sequoia 15.1.1
  • F1 firmware: 0.11

Has anyone else experienced this issue with Rebekah’s mapping or similar setups? Are there additional steps I should take to enable the Shift Page functionality? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance!
Chris

Where did you dl the files? I want to check it out - perhaps the shift layer is not implemented yet.

    Hi Stevan,

Thanks for your quick response! I downloaded the files directly from the link shared in the description of the Native Instruments YouTube clip 'One of a Kind: Rebekah on modular DJing with Traktor.'

Here's the link to the zip file for your reference:

It seems like the Basic Page works perfectly fine, but the Shift Page currently lights up all pads in yellow and doesn’t respond.

    Looking forward to your insights!
    Chris

Given you did not upload the Controller Editor template file I guess that's the missing bit. You are likely using wrong settings file (.nckf1)

The .nckf1 file I used originates from the link provided in the description of the Native Instruments YouTube clip 'One of a Kind: Rebekah on Modular DJing with Traktor.' Since this format cannot be uploaded here, I will upload the entire zip file instead.

I just tested and it doesn't look like a full mapping. Some FX buttons are not mapped yet and the Shift layer is just yellow lights as you mentioned, no controls… You were right.

Thanks for your feedback, Stevan. Do you know who I could reach out to for a correct and complete mapping?

She probably didn't fully flesh out the mapping, having all she currently needs while still having room for expansions. In that case there are probably only user customizations out there, if at all.

You can be the first to fully flesh out a user version.

DJ Endo made it. She gave credits to Endo and also to Tekken for his F1 mapping that she used previously. Which is pretty awesome.

I'd still use Tekken's mapping though.

Somehow i doubt Endo would not complete the mapping. I wonder what the story is.

Yeah Tekken cobbled together really cool OneButton and FaderMacroFX. :)
