Installing Kontakt - Installation failed

Hello, about 6 months ago I replaced my Hard Drive with a SSD and that may have caused this problem… but I can no longer install any version of Kontakt. I own version 5 & 7. They will not install anymore. All of my instruments install without issue and the Native Access app is all fine and up to date. (Version 3.16.0)
Today I tried installing Kontakt 8 Player, and that would not install. Perhaps there are remnants of the old install of Kontact 7 that is preventing newer versions to install? I uninstalled Kontakt 7 and tried the fresh install of Kontakt 8 player. Nothing works and I don't know what to do now. Repair fails also.
The exact error I get is "Kontakt 8 Player: Installation failed"
All the instruments install just fine, it's only Kontakt that fails to install.

I am on Windows 10, I have plenty of HD space.

Try using the N.I. reg tool after un-installation , and add a reboot and then try to re-install to see if that helps :

Normally this issue can be caused by an outdated Native Access version.

So , to solve that, I would kindly suggest to make sure that you are using the latest version of the Native Access (3.16.0). Here is the website from where you can download the latest version of it:

https://www.native-instruments.com/en/specials/native-access-2/

Then please restart your computer afterwards.

If the issue persists, can you please try to install your Kontakt 8 using this direct download link below:

Thank you both for your Reponses and possible solutions.
I used the N.I. registry tool method, then rebooted computer, and then installed via Native Access… and that worked!
I was concerned that if I did not get this fixed I would be out of luck. It also made me hesitant to want to buy the Kontakt 8 upgrade version from 7. But now I feel that would probably work now.
