Bundled licenses not transferrable

Hi, I just tried to list my NI MK2 S49, to sell as I had a recent car accident, and my wrist is not great . When I checked the licensing, all the software is not transferrable, so now I have a $1000AU Doorjam.

Imagine buying a computer without a windows license. It is useless.

    Every software item says not transferrable. I don't have room for all the software as it is, plus samples.

    You do not state software names or date of registration.

    If registered within last 60 days then as already informed by victorp.sg then you need support to transfer for you within that period.

    Other than that then if things can be transferred depends on what it is and how it were acquired. E.g. Komplete Select that came with a keyboard and is considered as Base software for the device (Komplete Select for HW) can not be transferred at all. But the user will get their own free copy of that when registering the serial after your transfer it to them. So you need to be a lot more specific (please do not ever post e.g. pictures of serials).

    Hi, sorry to hear that,


    If it works the same as Maschine mk3 you cant transfer the bundle separate from the hardware.

    however If you sell the hardware and transfer the license the new user gets all the software bundels with it and you get to keep al the software that is on your non transferabele license with the controller.

    Only If it works the same as with Maschine but I assume iets the same

    When did you last register the serial numbers of your hardware and software? There is a 60-day lockout of license transfer after registration which can be overrode by submitting a NI support ticket to explain your predicament.
