hello everyone
I have a problem, I would like to connect the MASCHINE MK3 to the ABLETON piano roll via midi cable, what is the procedure?
do I have to open the maschine software inside the ABLETON DAW?
OR OPEN THE MASCHINE SOFTWARE SEPARATELY BECAUSE ONLY IN THIS WAY I CAN ACTIVATE MIDI THROUGH MASCHINE MK3.

THANK YOUYYYY

Then you dont need any MIDI at all, this has nothing to do with the "Piano Roll"

A Compressor is an Audio FX, so you want an AUDIO Out to come from Maschine-Plug separately to a DAW Audio track, thats it.

    1. In Maschine: Go to the Instrument's Pad Audio Output, Select any External Out as a Destination.
    2. In Ableton: Go the an Audio track and select Maschine-Plug as the Input, below it pick the External Out from the previous Step then put whatever FX you want one it.

    What is your operating system?

Did you install the Maschine software already and drivers if it's a Windows computer? Is the MK3 connected to the keyboard with a USB cable? Then you don't need an extra MIDI cable to connect.

If you want to use the MK3 as just a MIDI controller/pads device, you need to put the MK3 in MIDI mode by pressing the SHIFT + MIDI button.

Then you only need to select the MK3 as a MIDI input in Ableton's MIDI preferences.

Hi, my operating system is a Mac m3, I installed Maschine 2 software and I would like to record the sounds of the Native Via Maschine software and Mascine Mk3 on the Ableton piano roll without pressing SHIFT+MIDI but using the MIDI cable inserted in the sound card.

I read and heard that there will be a release of the MASCHINE 3 SOFTWARE. Is there already a release date?

I saw a video on Youtube on how to do it but when I play on the piano roll and I want to put an effect on the DAW, the DAW bypasses the effect

Where do you want the instrument? Inside Maschine Plugin or the DAW?
