all things work in standalone but in ableton komplete kontrol, reactor 6, and massive and massive x all suddenly do not find vst3, when i mess with the vst3 and vst2 locations for hours, sometimes it opens komplete kontrol and i can use it for that session, but if it crashes or i close the project it will not find the vst3 again, and now after a week of trying to fix it fm8 has started not responding on the interface even though it will open it will not change patches as well as after opening fm8 once in a session, if i open another fm8 it will not find the vst3.
yes i have reinstalled everything with no change
yes i have opened the standalone kontrol and scanned the vsts locations before opening it in ableton ( this worked to fix the issue a month ago but now never works)
so long story short, what is the proper way to set up the vsts for ableton?
specifically the common files vst folders vs the 32/64bit native instrument folders.

im losing my mind at this point because i didnt change anything for the month of it working and now i cant get it to ever work…please save me there are 80 projects hanging in the balance and now i have lost faith in using 3rd party plugins after 10 years of avoiding them for this exact kind of reason
