The Maschine 3.0 update comes with

    • New modern UI with different colours (irrelevant for M+)
    • New Maschine Expansion with lots of sampler based instruments (at an additional cost)
    • Stem separation (most probably not for the M+, because of the the needed CPU power)
    • Tempo per Scene
    • MIDI editing workflow improvements (maybe irrelevant for the M+ as many feature requests were mainly about mouse based editing)
    • Basic Kontrol S-Series MK3 integration
    • many other small but valuable improvements (whatever they may be - most probably related to the desktop software only)

So… you can expect Tempo per Scene and Basic Kontrol S-Series MK3 integration and maybe some of the MIDI editing and small but valuable improvements for the M+.

I haven’t seen pricing mentioned anywhere, but…as it was mentioned that the 3.0 update is comparable to the update from 1.x to 2.0, I would expect a price tag of 99€. Or maybe 49€ for the update and 49€ for the additional new Maschine sounds.

When it comes to Kontrol 3.0 compatibility for Maschine Plus (so M+ in Controller mode) I’ve just posted some questions into:

This differs from a port of Maschine 3.0 software onto the Maschine Plus (so running the M+ in Standalone).

Both could be paid upgrades, where M+ is just announced to be updated to fix some known bugs and audio interface compatibility, and hopefully compatibility with the la(te)st version 2.0 of Maschine on desktop.

If and how the M+ will be brought into the Kontrol MK3 era depends… so hopefully Simon will provide some additional insights.
