Can’t get rid of broken library in Native Access
I just installed Komplete 15 Ultimate in Native Access 3.14.0 (on OS X Sequoia 15.0 on an iMac Retina 5K, 27’’, 2020).
In “Library/All” there is one library without a name (judging the thumbnail, it seems to be something from Kontakt) which I can’t install or get rid of otherwise.
Talking to the NI support, deleting “NativeAccess.xml” in “HD > Library > Application Support > Native Instruments > Service Center” didn’t get rid of the corrupt library.
It’s not a disaster having this unusable library in Native Access, but it’s kind of annoying, because “Install All” while updating always tries to install this broken library as well.
Is there any way, to get rid of this broken library?
Thanks for any help.

Hello Newsbusters, sorry for the issue.
Can you please try the following workaround:
In order to get NA to download the full installer we have to remove the affected products first.
PC:
- Apply the following steps to the affected products: Fixing Software Update Installation Issues (Windows)
- Restart PC and open NA
- Install the product(s) from the available section
- NA should download and run the full installer of the latest available version now
Mac:
- Navigate to the following location: Macintosh HD > Library > Preferences >
- delete the following file of the affected product: com.native-instruments.product name.plist
- restart your computer and open NA
- Install the product(s) from the available section
- NA should download and run the full installer of the latest available version now
Please let me know about the results.
I hope this helps☺️

Not really. As I don't know which product the broken (nameless) library belongs to, I have no idea which plist I should delete.

Hello Newsbusters, I see, if you don't see any product name or icon, this can also be a cosmetic issue, can you please provide the screenshot of the Native Access page that you are seeing your product?

Screenshots are already in my first post.

Hello Newsbusters, sorry I have missed the third screenshot, it seems like it is the Kontakt 5 that you are having this issue with.
It seems like this is happening because of the compatibility issue in between the Kontakt 5 and your operating system. So, it will not be possible to install it but maybe while trying the workaround above, you can try finding the Kontakt 5.plist. Are you seeing that?
Please let me know☺️

Did you try turning off Show Legacy software in Native Access settings ?
Otherwise then it's a know issue that this kind of bug exists.

"Show discontinued products" is already off.

Any news on this issue? I also have an orphaned Kontakt 5 in Native Access and I would hate having to reinstall everything over this. Version 5.8.1 on Kontakt is not listed in my NativeAccess.xml. "Show legacy products" is definitely off. This blocks "Install All" and becomes extremely tedious. The issue was also reported here but the discussion was closed without a single comment:

I reported the bug this morning (…and this is the third time!)… in fact, there are 2 "ghost" apps, not 1…
I suggest to ignore it and leave it like this for now… whatever you are planning to do, it won't fix the problem, you will just waste your time.
