Using Sampler without assigning channel to a Remix Deck
Hello community!
I'm using Traktor Kontrol S4 MK3 and Traktor Pro 4.
Is there any way to launch one shot samples without losing whole channel just for sampler? I could do it on Traktor S2 MK3 and as far as I know, every other DJ software has this option. I don't need any fancy stuff like EQ or gain, I just want to launch one shot white noise, for example, by pressing the pad in samples mode (without wasting channels C or D).

The S2 also uses one of the four channels for this. With the s4 you just have additional deck and mixer controls for the channel, that's all.
So, the answer is no, unless you prerecord white noise using the loop recorder. Once the sample is recorded, you can use the loop recorder play button to play it and the loop recorder D/W knob to set the volume. The tempo of the replay is synced to the master tempo.
Too bad the new s4 doesn't have loop recorder controls anymore. You will have to use the mouse or map the commands to a separate MIDI device or something to that effect.

What a shame, a several hundred bucks cheaper DDJ 400 can launch up to 16 different samples without sacrificing any of the channels.
Why can't Traktor have four channels and sampler separately, please consider adding this option... This software definitely doesn't fail to impress me with limitations every single day.

It's not up to me. ^^
I personally love the remix decks, in part because it's a perfectly sorted bag and has many useful features that modify the launch of the samples. It even includes a step sequencer. Plus, i only every play two tracks at the same time, using the third deck for prepping and the fourth for my bags of samples.
To each their own.
