DenonDJ P4 Traktor mapping

Hi to All!

I know this is questioned many times, and DenonDj standalone controllers meant to be standalone devices…. These discussions already closed, the questions more actual with the new feateres.

I have a P4 and I love that. Recently many functions came out - as stems, Serato already has the flips and the Tone play what I'm still missing as function (even P4 came out wiht Serato DJ Pro) but this functions in separate package in Serato anyway - NI also has a many brilliant new features what I'd like to use - and the stems far betters in Traktor like in Serato, at least seems to me. (Serato's as a deeply "dolbyzied")

As the P4's HW has not enough power probably for the new features, and I do not think we'll have these features what the P4+ will. I do not know the P4+' CPU's capability - and honestly I do not understand (unless to buy the new HW) why can not to process the stems prior in the Engine software and transfer to the controller after that … and honesty the stems's quality what I heard before not convinced me either)

So basically I'm playing with the possibility to using a DJ software regardless I prefer using the standalone way with my P4 (or… selling the P4 and using a laptop with a controller)

I guess the dev of a mapping (even for a series of devices) is very costy for the NI, as buying a new controller to me just for these new functions. The question is - is there any information about dev mapping for this controller now or planning. Many of the owners of the (?older?) Prime series devices have the same thinking on the forums….

Dear NI - do you intend to dev mapping the Traktor for the DenonDJ Prime (4) controller users ?

If yes, I'm a potential buyers of the Traktor Pro. Hopefully you will not intend to apply the subscription way, as the other competitors.
