Having CPU issues - when using stem function in Pro 4

Hi, whenever I use the stem feature and play just one stem e.g vocal with another track, the cpu goes into the red and the audio drops/stutters. I have increased buffer size to maximum but it does not help. I have also tried using ASIO4ALL but that just makes it worse. Any ideas? I am using a Lenovo ideapad 320 AMD A10 2.5ghz SSD. Thanks

Thanks for the response andy_andy, does this issue occur even when not extracting stems in a 'live' scenario?

I tried it once with my configuration, which is not great, and yes my CPU goes in red. Otherwise, without using stems, the CPU ussage is much higher than at Traktor Pro 3, but without audio drops/stutters… at least until now.
