Bar markers broken in TP4

This has been discussed in another post but I think has been overcomplicated there and conflated with other issues. This is a very simple bug.

In the Preferences→Decks Layout you can check the option to Show Bar Markers. This highlights every 4th beat and has no functional effect on anything.

In TP3, when you added a new grid marker, the count for bar markers would reset, and repeat every 4th beat after the grid marker. This was useful, for example, if you disagreed with the track analysis on where the first beat of the first bar should be. It is also useful if a song stopped for a beat, and then resumed with a new bar (without changing tempo). In these cases the Bar Markers are off unless corrected.

I do not buy that this is not possible with the new beatgridding system. This has nothing to do with the tempo of the the song, or maintaining integral beats - only highlighting every fourth beat when the the Show Bar Markers option is checked.

Please fix this.

Agreed. No one is going to notice initially with all the flexible grid hype. But wait until they try and create a Grid or manage a grid point coming from TP3. Its going to be a huge problem until they do something

True. Please don't let this go under; It's cosmetic so it is secondary in the current patching schedule; still this should not just add to the permant 'cosmetic bugs' record.
