Bug: Maschine+ unable to load any Reaktor sound
When trying to load any Reaktor based sound (Monark, Prism, Carbon etc), Maschine+ shows on the displays:
The following Plug-ins could not be loaded: Reaktor 6 (VST)
M+ System info:
- Reaktor Version 6.4.4
- System Version 188.8.131.52
- Maschine Version 2.15.1 (R7)
- Firmware 0.1.9
Are there any additional updates available which do not show up on my device?
Following that incident, stability deteriorates quickly. After a couple of operations (anything from clear pattern to load sound), Maschine+ starts to become unresponsive until it completely freezes.
Also, sound may become distorted or saved projects cannot be loaded anymore.
Unfortunately, most of my projects contain at least one instance of Monark, which means none of them work anymore. Thus, my Maschine+ is pretty much unusable in this state.
I wonder whether this could be some sort of Reaktor licensing problem as seen with some earlier software versions.
@Jeremy_NI @Michael_NI any ideas? Do you want the journalctl.log?1
I created a ticket and forwarded it to one of our Maschine Plus specialists, he should get in touch soon.0
Thank you very much, ticket 2901101 received and answered with example Project and current journalctl.log.1
Great, hopefully he'll get to the bottom of this. 🤞0
Did you get a reply, yet? I‘m having the same problem.1
me too. Hoping we catch this.0
Got a reply from support with files to reinstall the update, but unfortunately it didn't solve the problem.0
same here. Did it a couple of times.
BTW, when you have no SD card inside, can you still go into the Scan menu to find an update to install? I can and then when you click start installing it says there is no update. Probably just unrelated thingy.
@ozon where you a big custom reaktor patch user? Wonder if those who had complex/weird reaktor patches and preset names are the ones with this problem.
Anyway, glad to have won the lottery with y'all
(claim to fame - reaktor blocks racks running on M+ and converted TRK-01 Bass and Drum for M+ :> )0
@realname I just started out to do custom Reaktor Ensembles a couple of weeks ago. Around mid of May I was working on a port of two Blocks: The Monark Filter and Driver. Both were working great on Maschine 2 (macOS) but completely failed on the M+. When I booted the M+ one week later, it wasn’t able to load Reaktor Ensembles anymore. None of them.
I do have a feeling my experiments might have wrecked the M+, which is quite a disturbing thought.0
hmm. I did a lot of funky stuffy with reaktor and M+ but just got around to using it again and hopefully making some tutorials and posts/videos and write NI some feedback but then this update blew up everything. Can't wait to get back into it though, the update notes looked great.0
Update - my issue was solved with support. Needed a recovery file but now all is back to normal!0
Received a file called "force-reaktor-update.nut" from Support today and it seems to have cleared the issue. Reaktor Ensembles (instruments & effects) load fine. Hopefully it stays that way.
I will check whether the issues I had with loading custom Ensembles (which worked for others) are now gone as well.0
OK, now I have a similar issue with Massive in a Project which I edited in the Maschine 2 application and moved back to the M+. It tells me:
The following Plug-ins could not be loaded:
Contacted support about this as well.0
hmm interesting. Did you notice Massive not working before? Or did you edit the project and try it on Maschine+ after the Reaktor recovery. Maybe i can reproduce it.0
Having the same issue. M+ pretty much freezes or crashes when this happens.0
