Issue when installing most products (FATAL ERROR: Decompression failed on file [...])

I am getting this issue on most NI products, but I will be using Ashlight as an example here. Some way through the install I run into the issue FATAL ERROR: Decompression failed on file [...] (Error 30 → gzip decompression failed), followed by FAIL to ready entry from archive. I am installing the files into an external SSD drive. I have tried both using Native Access 2 and a legacy version of Native Access 1. Its worth noting that while trying to install Ashlight on NA1, I get a different error (FATAL ERROR: Invalid file handle!) and then I can open ashlight but its missing 475 samples. I have also tried copying the files from the .iso that builds into somewhere else and installing from there, same issues. Occasionally, I'll get a different error message (Please Insert Ashlight), presumably because, for some reason, the .iso got ejected.

I'm on Windows 11, if this helps at all.

• The latest graphic card drivers are installed
• Only one monitor is in use
• There are no errors when running these tests
