Native access update fails, Please Wake-up NI, K14 is disengaging users
I also start to think K14 will be my last update: this is simply not acceptable in the professional software word.
A simple update gives this repeatedly, seriously?
Not to mention Komplete S keyboards (MK2) run very slow in my DAW software since K14, sorry NI I won't throw away my old keyboard to make it work better.

Try uninstalling both Native Access and NTK Daemon using Windows uninstall prior to installing the new version and also run the N.I. reg tool to remove and delete any Native Access and N.I. NTKDaemon entry afterwards.
Then Reboot and check if the NTKDaemon are still running if it is the kill the process
The above is the short version and is not always sufficient and sometimes a deeper cleaning is needed

Or NI could provide us with updates that just work and don't require sometimes difficult manual removal methods making paying customers jump through hoops just to keep working.

Don't think that many here will disagree with that , including me. I just don't see what that has to do with me trying to assist someone else. It's not like I have any say in any of this .

Don't take it so personally. I was merely pointing out my point of view, it wasn't meant to be directed at you.

Thank you all for your feedback, after few attempts and rebooting it finally got to something where the updates seem to be complete. Did not retest all the plugins though but it seems stable again, but what a waste of time it was!
