I bought a second hand Maschine studio, but without software. How can I buy the software online? As there is only an update ! I don't have Maschine 1, can I buy Maschine 2?

    You might want to contact support and see if they can help.

    It could be possible that the hardware was unregistered but the transfer code was not supplied by the seller. Is their any chance of contacting the seller to find out?

    Alas you can not buy the software , you can only buy and upgrade from V.1 to V.2 if your unit came with version 1 : The MASCHINE 2 SOFTWARE UPDATE is only for anyone still having and using MASCHINE 1.x software.

    Apparently then N.I. policy is that if you want to use your Maschine with the Machine software then you have to have the hardware serial registered to your account. Registering the hardware unit serial to your account will automatically give you a copy of the base software that came with the unit. (Quote : Matt_NI : All you need to know about License Transfer : Please note that there are a few exceptions with older products. For these products, the software license shows a tag that the license has to be transferred to the new user by our Account Support team)

    So N.I. assumes that your hardware serial is registered to your account and if it is not then there is no automatically getting any copy of the base software - at least that appear to me as being the general gist.

    If you have a problem getting the hardware serial registered to your account or have problem getting the hardware serial transferred from other owner then you have to contact N.I. Account Support

    The "resolution that works" is the click through make the right choices to open a ticket : N.I. Account Support

    (You need to use browser with Cookie , Security and Extensions settings that will allow for log-in on the page for the page to work)

    Scroll down to bottom of page N.I. Account Support and log in

    Then click the Contact support

    Then again scroll down and click the Contact N.I. support that shows

    Then yes , damn it ! , then you have to click the Contact N.I. support again

    I Can't contact the seller

    8 Please upload a photo of the invoice or receipt from the seller.

    You have to take the rest from there yourself since I can not start opening empty tickets just to make a guide for you.
