So before all that I had Windows 10 and Guitar Rig Player 6 installed and correctly worked on ny PC. Then I've made clean install of Windows 10, installed all updates including graphic card (Nvidia GeForce GT 1030) and sound card (Creative SoundBlaster X-Fi Platinum) drivers. After installing Natice Access and Guitar Rig Player 7, Guitar Rig doesn't start at all. In goes from "Open" to "Opening" and then "Open" again.

I've tried all steps from "Guitar Rig Crashes at Startup" but nothing worked. Morover, it skipped solution with deleting database as I don't event have "Native Instruments" folder in AppData/Local.

I've found some crash files of guitar rig, analysed them with Windbg and found out that the error is "ILLEGAL_INSTRUCTION_c000001d_Guitar_Rig_7.exe".

Is there any way to fix the problem? I've tried every solution found but nothing works…

Processor: AMD Phenom(tm) II X6 1090T
Available memory on disk: 33 GB (read somewhere that this small amount of memory can cause the issue)

    @Rudyk Misha ,

    P.S.

    The 0xC000001D: Illegal Instruction error typically happens because your CPU does not implement the instructions in the program.In this case it could be a matter of lack of AVX or AVX2 support ! (Advanced Vector Extensions)(The AMD Phenom II X6 1090T does not support AVX or AVX2 , ref. : section : Specifications : Instruction set extensions here) .

    So if the AVX or AVX2 support is a requirement and not something that can just be turned off by a check (as per the suggested Microsoft Visual C++ redistributable fix above) , then problem most likely is that your CPU is too old / too poor ! System requirements for Guitar Rig 7 Player clearly say Intel Core i5 or equivalent CPU, which I am sure is a requirement that your CPU does not meet !

    Sorry but my guess is that that might be the problem !

    Have you checked with SFC/Scannow?

    Jeremy_NI's standard post on the issue is here !

    I've made clean install of Windows 10, installed all updates

    What specific Windows 10 are you using ?

    Did the 'all updates' include motherboard drivers from manufactures site ?

    Problem could also be a Microsoft Visual C++ redistributable that is not up to date. ; If appropriate then try this : Update for Visual C++ 2013 and Visual C++ Redistributable Package

    Apparently it's an issue that could also be related to such things as driver problems or CPU. But someone knowing more than me perhaps should take a look at the full crash report ?

    @PoorFellow

    I think you're right - my CPU doesn't meet requirement on AVX, I really missed that. I guess, Guitar Rig 6 doesn't have this requirement nor do other NA products (because Kontakt 7 Player works perfectly).

    I have to ask: Is there any chance to get Guitar Rig Player 6? Is there any link on that version? I would be very grateful if so.

    Thank you for your support!

    I am actually not sure of exactly which Instructions it is that is required that your CPU does not support, but it appears as if the lack of support for instructions might be the problem here. The AVX lack is one that came up as a possible cause in some case , but alas I don't know the specifics of what it is required by all the software that the one CPU have and the other not ! But the CPU definitely appear as being too old and a likely cause here !

    I have not been able to find a PC download for GR6 Player , but I would be rather surprised if not support will let you have a GR6 Player version if you contact them and explains your need ! At least it is worth asking !

    Try asking account support if they will let you have a GR6 Player license to your account since your computer appear as being too old for version 7 Player !

    There has just been introduced chat support for Account Support assistance (at least daytime on normal work days) :

Simply click on the chat icon located at the bottom right corner, and you'll be assisted by a virtual assistant. @Jeremy_NI

    Yes, and there are no violations found. As @PoorFellow mentioned, I pretty sure it's about my CPU - it doesn't meet requirement on AVX. Thank you for your support!
