Why can't I update/upgrade to Kontakt 7?

(Please note: I posted more or less the exact same post below to another thread a few hours ago, but as that was somebody else's old thread, which has already been answered, I figured it best to start a new thread of my own for this. My apologies to anyone who's already seen my other post. πŸ™„)

In the past I purchased a KOMPLETE 10 ULTIMATE Crossgrade, which included the full version of Kontakt at the time.

I later purchased a KONTAKT Update..from 5 to 6..and a while back I purchased the Kontakt 7 Bundle..thinking I was getting the full version of Kontakt 7..but I later read here that that's not the case.

The thing is..when I log into my NI account and check my purchases, all of the above are shown there..but if I go to buy Kontakt 7, it tells me I have to pay the full price because "You do not qualify for cheaper pricing"..that can't be right, can it?..or am I missing something?

I haven't contacted support about this yet..I thought I'd get some feedback from you guys here first before I do, in case I've misunderstood something.

Hope somebody won't mind explaining this to me..and my apologies once again to the original poster.

    As per your request I deleted the two other posts made in another thread !

    a while back I purchased the Kontakt 7 Bundle..thinking I was getting the full version of Kontakt 7..but I later read here that that's not the case.

    I didn't know that N.I. sold Kontakt 7 bundles that didn't contain Kontakt 7 . Could I politely inquire if you are you sure that you have not misunderstood something ?

    If you still have the bundle then please check your account for what serials that you have ! Where did you buy the 'Kontakt 7 bundle' ? If you bought it directly from N.I. then should be able to see any serials connected with your account on the MY PRODUCTS, SERIALS, AND DOWNLOADS page , listed as eitherΒ Not registered or as Registered Products. Also the serial could be listed in any emails that you got from N.I. , please check emails including spam folder !

    Anyway then basically either there is something wrong here or much more likely then perhaps you are put off by the shop interface. When the shop interface says : "! This update only works for users of KONTAKT 1-6. You won't be able to install and activate this version unless you own one of the required products listed above!" , then that does NOT mean that you are not qualified if you are logged in and are in fact qualified. It is just a warning to make you check your eligibility ! so if you already have Kontakt 1-6 then you are qualified and can continue with your purchase.

    That said then my advice is that you need to examine the already bought Kontakt 7 bundle issue prior to buying more ! And if necessary then contact customer support to make them help you sort it out. Also unless you only want Kontakt then it's a much better deal for you to update your bundle to a newer version !     There has just been introduced chat support for purchases, accounts assistance (at least daytime on normal work days) (but due to web-page issues then the blue chat box might not appear at the moment !) :

    Thanks for the swift reply to my post and the advice you've offered.

    I purchased directly from NI and the order email I received clearly says "Kontakt 7 Bundle Update", which shows up as "Kontakt 7 Bundle" in the unregistered section on the "MY PRODUCTS, SERIALS, AND DOWNLOADS" page when I log in..as is the serial number, as I've yet to install it.

    For the record, I'm currently only interested in the Kontakt 7 Sampler and not in upgrading the latest version of KOMPLETE..which is something I plan on doing at a later date.

    Based on what you've said here, I should already either have the full version of Kontakt 7 or be untitled to a discounted upgrade..and I won't know that for sure untill I actually install the version of Kontakt 7 Bundle I purchased.

    If it shows as not registered then you need to use the key in add key in Native Access to add it to your account else you will not have access to it !
