Unable to download NOIRE , Mac

I purchased Noire.

It will not load. "Not enough disk space" said the app.

I cleared 30 gigs of space.

I was also unable to assign the download to an external drive. The preferences are not working..

So I"m currently stymied, unable to access the product. Mid-project with a fast approaching deadline. Please assist. if possible. Thanks.

You generally need space to download then install the larger products. How much space do you have free?

As you're in a Mac you could also take a look at this article as it explains about free and purgeable space.

From your profile I gather that your computer type is Mac M1 and your OS version is 12.6.1 , What is your Native Access version ?

ALL NI apps including NTKDaemon must have full disk access !

Disks must be of the correct disk format ! (APFS for newer Mac OS)

You must have enough disk space not only on both Download destination and on Content destination , but you must also have enough Temp space for installation on system drive !

Also please check that drives does not have space taken by 'Snapshots' !

Check with Disk Utility to see if you have any snapshots that are taking up space.

You'll have to enable show snapshots first though if you haven't already.

You can also verify this by going to the terminal and typing du -H

If NA is complaining about disk space, more than likely you will see a difference in free space in the terminal compared to Disk Utility.
