    Wow! I am having a blast just playing the "Formant Pad" preset over and over again on C1.

    It would be interesting to duplicate a factory patch on it and see how it fairs.

    Great Job Sunborn!!

    DRAGON2 V2.1 Reaktor Ensemble NKS

    V2.1 UPDATE:

    * Name changed from Red Dragon, to DRAGON2. Please remove the older ensemble before use this one!

    * NKS Version: Ensemble is now fully NKS compatible, for use in Maschine and Komplete Kontrol, with an updated custom template and a fully reworked mapping, which has been applied on each preset. It is now appears as an individual instrument under Native Instruments, with its own graphics and resources (NKS previews by @Kymeia).

    * There are 2 ensembles now, DRAGON2 which is the original and BABY DRAGON, which has a reduced size, because i completely removed the Additive Synthesis section, since i found it a bit useless and monotonous (or perhaps because I'm still a newbie in this type of synthesis! :-p). So, BABY DRAGON is now a full subtractive synth.

    Both ensembles share the same master name (DRAGON2), the same NI Resources and the same presets (slightly different on BABY DRAGON). I also added 4 more presets to each ensemble. They have different Templates though, each one according to its own resources.

    So, on Maschine and Komplete Kontrol, they appear as one instrument with 2 banks:

    "Red Dragon" bank, opens the DRAGON2 ensemble and "Baby Dragon" bank, opens the BABY DRAGON ensemble. Well, it is not as complicate as it may sounds!

    * Improved Feedback OSC

    * Reworked Stereo Spread function

    LiquidX - Vocal Sampler Twister

    My new ensemble, fully NKS compatible, for use in Maschine and Komplete Kontrol, with a custom template and mappings, which has been applied on each preset. It appears as an individual instrument under Native Instruments, with its own graphics and resources (NKS previews by @Kymeia).

    This is a simple sampler, where all samples are vocal based. Voices are heavily twisted by an LFO, various Filters, a Delay and a Reverb and most parameters can be automated. The voices, includes rare samples from legendary psychedelic acts such as Gong and Timothy Leary, as well as from movies such as the Lord of the Rings and Star Wars, plus some from Tibetan chants and few other sources, much less known. All samples were recorded and edited by me and most of them never used before anywhere. This is my first sampler and also the first time that i use blocks within an ensemble. I had great fun twisting those voices in any possible way and i hope you will enjoy it too :-)

    @Sunborn I really like this one. The delays really have that late 60's feel.

    @Kymeia @Sunborn Hi both, I just wanted to say thank you for your work in mapping these ensembles!

    I just wanted to query whether anyone has mentioned any issues with any of the NKS ready ensembles when using in Maschine. For some reason, the majority of the Boscomac devices work perfectly immediately, while others either have blank parameters, page headers, and on some occasions what appears to be changing Chinese characters instead of values. I had the same issue with the copy of Crude I downloaded from the RUL so I figured I would just go in and fix it up for myself… this is where I started to get weirdness happening where the all the parameter orders are undone, page headers reset to Page 1/2 etc. and blank Reaktor assignment controls are created in the first few pages.

    Do either of you have any ideas of what may be causing this?

    Has anyone perhaps reported any issues with vst3 versions of Reaktor lately?

    For context, I have previously converted ensembles with success and not encountered this before. Happy to provide an ensemble for others to look at if anyone has the time.

    Hello and thank you :-)

    I can't speak about Boscomac or other ensembles but only for those i have made. They work fine, without blank parameters or any other issue.

    Also, there are no reported issues about Reaktor VST3.

    But, i can tell you why this is happening! The reason is simple. It is not enough to make the template.

    You have to use this template and save every ensemble's snapshots as a preset (from inside Maschine or Komplete Kontrol). After that, you need to open Reaktor and import all those presets one by one, replacing the existing snapshots. Finally you save the ensemble.

    I describe the entire process, here:

    Thank you for your guide @Sunborn !

    I will have a go at this step by step, although I have already been assigning appropriate automation IDs and whatnot. Unfortunately this is where I have started to experience issues with the IDs dynamically reordering themselves while sorting through the rest of the available parameters. In particular this has been happening with the Crude ensemble, but I have yet to have a look at the individual ensembles I had issues with in the Boscomac collection.

    Perhaps this is something to do with the additional delay and reverb ensembles included (I removed them from my version of the ensemble as I will apply my own later), or double-ups on automation IDs.

    Ah, i think i understood better your issue now, since you wrote "IDs dynamically reordering themselves"!

    ID's must be assigned first in Reaktor, one by one, with the order of your choice! This includes names too.

    Without specific given name and specific ID value, all parameters return on their whatever default values every time you re-open the ensemble.

    So, first you fix this, and only then you go to Maschine / KK to make a template.

    Oh no, I've definitely been doing that. This is why this ensemble is so strange to me right now.

    So I re-downloaded Crude from RUL last night to start fresh, but the existing ensembles opens looking like the image I posted above. With 2-3 pages of Reaktor parameters before showing the actually mapped controls, no bank names, no NKS mapping as far as I can tell.

    I had no interest in keeping the reverb and delay attached to it, so I remove them and go through the conversion process myself, including assigning the automation IDs and naming the parameters in Reaktor itself. Then when I learn the control (as it does not automatically populate the existing banks), it display a different name (Wave 1 now shows as the BIT control) but still controls the parameter... The ID entered into Reaktor remains the same.

    I posted the NKS version of Crude ages ago so maybe it has been updated and the NKS ready version replaced with one that is not? This is how it looks for me but I haven't updated to the most recent:
