I've decided to take the time and meticulously "convert" all missing Super 8 R2 (VST) presets to its Reaktor counterpart... by recreating them from scratch 🥴 But instead of keeping them for myself, I want to share them here.

Wave 2 is now available and consists of the presets below. I still have 139 74 to do, so... please have patience with me.

Thanks to @Jeremy_NI for asking around in the company (legal and stuff) and giving the green light.

Installation

As per the Super 8 Manual, place the folder "Super 8 R2" from the .ZIP into the following destination:

  • Win: \Users\*Username*\Documents\Native Instruments\User Content\Super 8
  • macOS: /Users/*Username*/Documents/Native Instruments/User Content/Super 8

Revisited Wave 1 presets and made the following changes:

[ADDED/FIXED] Added missing Effects (Chorus/Flanger/Delay) values on various Bass presets and fixed wrong ones.

[FIXED] Slightly altered various MOD 1/2 Speed values that were a bit off.

[FIXED] Bass/Brain Basic - UNISON Spread is now 0 (was 16).

[FIXED] Bass/Brain Basic - OSC 1 Mod Source is now MOD 2 (was MOD 1).

[FIXED] Bass/Chalk Talk - UNISON Stereo is now 6 (was 50) + added missing MOD routing.

[FIXED] Bass/Chalk Talk - Missing MOD routing for OSC 1 Wave 3 Shape.

  • I can't 100% guarantee for no errors. While I've been super careful in replicating everything, I may still have missed a mod routing or two somewhere. The plan for now is to finish all presets first, followed by QA afterwards.

  • Presets are provided "AS IS".
