Fill pads with random samples feature?

I haven't used maschine in a good few years. Has any kind of random kit generator been added where it creates a random kit from all the samples you have on your drive - either using rules with x amount of kicks, x snares etc, or just something completely random?

What about random pattern preset choices or a pattern generator?

No, but that's a great idea. Maybe you should drop that in the Maschine suggestion box.

There's probably a third party plugin that does something though.

Right now I am using Atlas 2 for that feature. I assign Atlas to one sound within a group, and then map each pad out to each sound in the group. But it would be extremely convenient if Maschine had this feature as well. The good thing about a 3rd party alternative though is that you can plug it into DAW. BTW, I also pointed Atlas 2 at my Maschine, Battery, and Kontakt exposed wav files too to randomize my maschine kits.

I've pretty much left maschine completely now. Theres a plugin called Rando that you should check out. The developers actually listen to their customer base!
