How to fix "Installation failed: invalid location" / "Review your location ..." error messages
Hi. I'm running the most current version of native access. I've had this bug for quite some time now, and I've already deleted all the files associated with kontakt 7 and uninstalled and installed old and new versions of native access, and restarted my computer a bunch. And now even after doing all that, when a product goes undetected or when I uninstall the product I get the same error message for that product ("Installation failed: invalid location"). If someone would happen have an idea on how to fix this, I'd be glad to listen.

Hello guys, sorry for the issue.
Have you tried these steps below:
In order to get NA to download the full installer we have to remove the affected products first.
PC:
- Apply the following steps to the affected products: Fixing Software Update Installation Issues (Windows)
- Restart PC and open NA
- Install the product(s) from the available section
- NA should download and run the full installer of the latest available version now
Mac:
- Navigate to the following location: Macintosh HD > Library > Preferences >
- delete the following file of the affected product: com.native-instruments.product name.plist
- restart your computer and open NA
- Install the product(s) from the available section
- NA should download and run the full installer of the latest available version now
Please let me know.
I hope this helps☺️

For which products do you get this error? Are you installing content on an external hard drive? What's the format of that drive? On Mac it should be APFS: Notes on Hard Drive Formats on Mac Computers
If that doesn't help in your case, acn you share a screenshot of the error message?

I got this error message for all of the product in the screenshots and Tracktion DJ 2 (not that I need it but they still wont install)
The format I'm using is: Mac OS Extended (Journaled)

I've reformatted my external drive to AFPS, but it's still giving me the same error messages.

Also forgot to mention it is an external hard drive. I changed it to APFS from Mac OS Extended (Journaled).

Now it says for me "Download failed" with Native Access saying that the product in the queue's download is paused.
Again I'm on MacOS 12 Monterey
And I'm on Native Access Version 3.9.1

I now have the same issue.
The first 2 wont install because of the invallid location thing while the locations are all default.
They dont even have a name so i cant see wich pack or module it is.
Discription just says world leading sampler and he second one: the ultimate creative tool
