It cannot complete its scan of plugins, Just freezes every time.

So disappointing that NI keeps releasing buggy programs.

Where can I find older versions of KK that work on Mac Ventura?

Which plugins are crashing, any in particular? I've found that Softube plugins often hang, but next time around they'll scan without a problem.

If you don't have a MK3 keyboard you could download the last 2.9.6 version from here - Komplete Kontrol Legacy Installers for Older Operating Systems – Native Instruments (native-instruments.com), I don't think older versions of 3.x are generally available without contacting support.

@David Willis Not sure if downgrading to a previous version will get rid of that scanning issue, have you tried version 3.1.2 by the way? Here is Komplete Kontrol 3.1.0

If downgrading doesn't fix the issue, then we'd recommend to reset Komplete Kontrol's database, like in this article: KOMPLETE KONTROL Crashes

It’s probably just one or two specific plugins causing this- tbh the whole point of the plugin scan is to weed out potentially incompatible or unstable plugins before they can affect KK itself or people’s projects, so to an extent the plugin scan crashing or freezing is to be expected. It’s when KK itself is crashing or freezing there’s a bigger problem.

That being said it would be helpful if KK produced a user readable scan report to help troubleshoot such situations (as Logic does for example)

Of course it's buggy...FOR YOU. Since you can't even be bothered to provide any details regarding what you're running it on. For the rest of us 3.1.2 (the most recent version) downloaded, scanned and is running just fine on my Windows 10 PC (see how that works?)

Uh, I hate to make fun the reading challenged, but if you read my post it clearly says I'm on Mac Ventura. You know, a better computer that you cannot afford since you're on a Radio Shack Windows 95 machine.

Well at least it's not crashing when compared to - you know - a (severely) overpriced "better computer"....

And KKv3 is now on v3.2.0 - maybe give that a go.

That said - you did not mention what Kontrol Series keyboard you have.

If it is not the new MKIII model - there is little point to using KKv3 whatsoever.
