Traktor X1 Mk3 Filter and Mixer Effects
Hello guys I’m new to the forum as I just bought an X1 Mk3 controller yesterday.
I wanted to share with you what I mapped on the controller for controlling the mixer fx so I always have a filter or delay available without using the main effects of Traktor .
So I made a mapping and when I press shift and rotate the loop encoder it works as a filter. When I press shift and tap the loop encoder it resets the fx knob to zero (this is so the effect can reset to the exact zero in case the encoder misses a tiny amount when you try to reset it manually). To scroll through mixer effects I use shift + the two fx select arrows at the top of the controller .
with this mapping you lose the ability to move the active loop or scroll through the track with the loop encoder and shift, but tbh I never used a loop move inside the track. If the loop is wrong i just deactivate it and make a new one and to scroll through the track you can still use shift + tempo bend buttons above the cue.
It was a very small and easy mapping for something that was missing from this controller. If anyone needs it let me know and I will upload it .

Good to see you play around with remapping your controller. But your post would be better placed in this brand new section:
Upload your mapping anyway. Some users may find it easier to try out your mapping if they don't have to ask you to upload it. 🦋

I'd love to get ahold of the way you did this. I agree that lack of ability to map the filter is an issue - it's so much easier than tweaking multiple EQ knobs.
