Traktor S2 MK1 on Traktor 3.11?

Hey everybody, I recently upgraded my system to a MacBook Air running Sonoma 14.2.1 and had to upgrade to Traktor 3. To my AMAZEMENT my old S2 MK1 still works with this system. Can I upload to Traktor 3.11 without breaking everything? Has anyone else done this and it’s working?

Are you sure it's not an mk2 device?

macOS 10.15 (Catalina) terminated the operability of some legacy NI hardware. The same applies to macOS 11 (Big Sur), macOS 12 (Monterey), and macOS 13 (Ventura). This includes MASCHINE MK1, MASCHINE MIKRO MK1, AUDIO 2 / 4 / 8 DJ, TRAKTOR AUDIO 2 MK1, and TRAKTOR KONTROL S2 / S4 / X1 MK1.

What version of Traktor 3 Pro are you currently using?

Thanks for writing back! I am def using the S2MK1 (looks just like the picture you sent), which is why I was honestly flabbergasted that it’s working - I knew that they dropped support of it with Catalina and I’m on Sonoma. I’m on Traktor Pro 3.10.0 at the moment.

That is nice.

I don't think traktor versions matter. So I guess you can upgrade.

If it stops working you can revert to previous version.
