Is there a possibility we have our iZotope licenses listed in Native Access

Hi,

I had 2 accounts, as many of us, one for iZotope and one for historical Native Instruments.

Then the companies merged and choose Native Instruments as name.

I bought products in my iZotope accounty and in my NA account.

Especially I bought a pack containing Guitar Rig 7 form iZotope.

After registering I see that it is registered on NI side as a license for 'Guitar Rig 7 Pro for iZotope'. Is there any fifference ? If no difference why different naming ?

And I remark that the NI shop, even when logged, continue to propose me to buy Guitar Rig 7 Pro.

After upgrading to Komplete 14 Collector, I see a new license for Guitar Rig 7 LE available.

And some iZotope LE licenses are also available, but I already have bought iZotope Music Production Suite. And Native access does not see it and continues to propose to install Ozone 11 LE when I have Ozone 11 advanced installed. So I must take care to not install al the available items proposed by Native Access. It is not a mess but some confusion is increasing.

Finally when could we expect the 2 accounts to be merged under Native Access ?

Yes, it's still a work in progress. It's actually a lot of work to bring all our products together, different installers, different technologies.

Regarding the Guitar Rig Pro thing, there's only a naming difference because it was part of a mostly Izotope bundle.

For the moment you will still need to use both Izo's portal and Native Access.

I know it's not ideal, it can be confusing. We're here to help in case you need it.

It may be that the expression 'Guitar Rig 7 Pro for iZotope' is used because it came in a bundle (?) so maybe you can not sell or transfer the 'Guitar Rig 7 Pro for iZotope' license without you selling the whole bundle ?

As for the 'Guitar Rig 7 LE' then I agree that a 'hide' feature would be nice , but if it is something that bothers you a lot then maybe you should participate in the upcoming "future DevTalks/Quarterly Update entry" mentioned here , or simply hurry over and ask/tell Hayo_NI : https://community.native-instruments.com/discussion/19819/native-access-3-8-0-now-live/

Nobody has an ETA on that since it's a work in progress with a whole lot that needs to be done and a whole lot that needs to work together to avoid making a mess out of it all ! You can be sure that N.I. are working on it , but a lot will have a lot higher priorities than performing a full fusion of the companies which is what you ask. What you are seeing now is the results of all the efforts to do all the parts of the fusion. But to do it all properly then e.g. even all the installers for the iZotope programs would have to be re-written to Native Access format if they are to be installed all by Native Access (?) and so would all the DRM of the present iZotope installers , so if you start to take all that into consideration then maybe you will appreciate the huge size of the task !

@CSurieux Little progress. Some Izotope products are now included in our subscriptions: Which Products Are Included with NI 360 Essentials / Plus / Pro? and are deployed through Native Access, but it's not yet for all Izo products, this will take a while.

What is that current status on migrating our licenses to Native access? Want my iZotope licenses there and it has been a while now.

Please add a road map on Native access third party software support on the Support page, similar to MacOS compatability page.

Also want to know status for this migration process. I trying to avoid installing multiple vendors for my clean system if I know those will be migrated.

I took the beta shared login program proposed on on IZotope site and I have one login now, even if still a little clicky.
The strange side effect is that they are sharing the shopping card between the 2 sites, what I add in when on IZotope site goes in Native side.
But my iZotope boughts products are still not in Native Access… and vice-versa

It's one of those things that seems 'really easy' to customers of both companies (like me), but which is actually really complicated and time consuming to do correctly.

No one will be winning any attention or top level praise for doing something that sounds as mind-bogglingly tedious as customer database integration (it sounds dull just writing it), but this is what NI/Izotope are trying to accomplish here. It's a horribly complex task and, sadly, very easy to do badly.

As a customer of both NI and Izotope, I'm perfectly happy for the company to do this slowly and prioritise getting it right, rather than expecting it to be done tomorrow (and fail).

Best of luck to the team that are doing this.

The two log-in are being unified (is in Beta) so that you after unification of logins then you are using only N.I. login credentials for both sites and Product Portal. Account unification is the logical step to follow later , but I am rather sure that that will not happen before all of the iZotope products have been migrated to N.I. N.A. install. So as reported by CSurieux then the iZotope account content at present is only shown on log in to the iZotope account.

I just merged my iZotope account with my NI account - still cannot see my iZotope products in Native Access, guess the Native access installers are not active yet.

Any news when they will go live?

Account unification is a part of this process but to have all systems aligned and having everything available in Native Access will take some time. There is no definite ETA at the moment.
