maschine plus needs optional host transport control when in RECIEVE Sync Mode. The ability to still access and send simple transport messages when in slave configuration would greatly speed up any workflow involving several MIDI devices. This would simply be mirroring the host transport function found in Maschine 2 when configured as a Plugin.
