We might have to wait until the US wakes up. 🤔😉
As far as I remember, new TP releases appeared in late afternoon time (central european time). I hope we will get a new beta soon after the release of the X1-update of Traktor.

Glad to hear you like the new X1 design. We'll do our best to make sure the S4 Mk3 remains maintained and updated. It is a very essential product for us in our portfolio.

Yes there is a 12 o clock notch/center detent on those knobs. As you say you will have to "catch up" the parameter when switching pages. The display will also help you showing in which direction to turn.

We are aware that some muscle memory will need to be relearned in regards to CUE, PLAY and SYNC if you are coming from the MK2. If you are coming from the MK1 tho it will be a very familiar layout. We decided to get back to the original MK1 layout as it is more in line with our other DJ controllers as well as the overall standards of other controllers on the market of how CUE and PLAY are positioned towards each other (CUE on top of PLAY).
This way you also have the only two ON/OFF toggle buttons at the bottom being separated by shape from all the trigger buttons on top.
The touchstrip was a great feature but we observed some critical situations where it was not reliable enough from our perspective. For example when your hands got a bit wet during a performance. Therefor we moved the nudge functionality onto two buttons, which should also give you more precision overall.
Glad to hear you like the HUB 😁

The unit is USB powered. The power supply is only needed to power the hub if you want to use it.

Very happy to hear that you are still rocking out the original X1. The layout is actually closer to the original one than the MK2 so you might enjoy the better ergonomics and contextual information on the screens.

The USB Hub is a 2.0 one.

It is a active/powered hub which comes with the required power supply in the box. If you dont want to use the hub the device also works bus powered.
Yes Shift+Rev is mapped to FLUX per default. Hope that works for you?

Do you have an exact release date for TP v.3.10.0 in N.A.?

Yes there will be a new case that will also act as a stand like the current one.. We are just finalizing the details. So stay tuned.

The official version will be out just shortly before the official X1 MK3 release. This allows us to keep the testing phase as long as possible to make this a solid update.

We learned on X1 MK1 back in the day that even a standard USB B port was causing issues and accidential disconnects with DJs. For this reason we choose a high retention connector for this. Unfortunately USB C is not yet stable enough for a product that is being moved around in booths a lot from our perspective.
