How to get Kontakt 7 within Logic to receive MIDI input from the Komplete Audio 6.

A while back, I asked "how to get Kontakt or Logic to receive MIDI input from the Komplete Audio 6".

That was with the old version of Kontact. I got it working, thanks to help from @Blindeddie. (Thanks again!)

I installed Kontact 7 since then, and I just realized I haven't been using it - my Logic projects all use the old version of Kontact.

With Kontact 7, I'm having the same problem I had with the old version of Kontact: it's not noticing MIDI input that arrives on my Mac via the USB connection. The MIDI input chain is:

MIDIController-->MIDICable-->KompleteAudio6--USBCable-->Mac

Will y'all help me get Logic+Kontact7 to play sounds when MIDI notes arrive? (I'd love to troubleshoot with someone over live video, if that would work better for you. Even pay you for your time. 😀)

Do exactly the same solution as you did in Kontakt 6! Midi is midi, no matter what the instrument is

Hi, @Sunborn ! Thanks - I think I do have all the settings the same. Kontakt 7 works fine on its own: I can play it with a MIDI controller, it produces sounds. But Kontakt 7 within Logic Pro isn't working. Do you have any other ideas?

Oh, gosh! I got it working. MIDI was configured correctly. The instrument was not. After I figured out how to select the instrument (what an interesting UI!), everything works perfectly. :-)
