How can I map the hot cues to instantly play the track as I press them?

Hello, I'm not good at mapping in Traktor pro3 and I've recently brought Kotrol s4 mk3. I would really like to know if there's any way to set the hot cues to instantly play the track so I don't have to hold the hot cues down. I hope you have a way to solve that without affecting any other button. 🤔

    Add In --> Deck Common --> Play/Pause

    Type = Button

    Mode = Direct

    Value = 1

    Adding and assigning that command to a pad is a way to go.

    You can also push play while pressing any of the hot cues. I wouldn't change the actual mapping because you might want to use the hot cues the default way.

    Another way that I usually use instead, is to hit the hot cue when the volume fader is down to set the start point.

    Most the time I will then...tap the play button to the beat and then flip the volume fader up. This also works well with a saved loops. (You can also use the crossfader for this, I disabled the crossfaded because I mix with all decks and it gets confusing.)

    I tried what you suggested but unfortunately it's not working the way i want it to. Whenever i hit the hotque it starts playing the track (instantly) but if i press it again it doesn't go back to the point I've set it to. Do you know how to do that? Thanks for your reply😁

    Yeah i know what you're saying but I'd prefer the hotques to instantly play without pressing the Play/Pause button.

    Check your Play/Pause commands. It sounds like your "Override Factory Mapping" option is activated.

    Yes you are right. I also added on modifier

    Mod:Play/Pause Value: Off

    Now it is perfect.

    Thank you so much
