Being a waiter for years and working in different domain, by definition a customer is never happy and always want more for less . A business that lasts makes compromises but doesn’t give it all either and we are all the same and governed by those principles. I learned this the hard way unfortunately. Fortunately there is always workarounds 😜.

I am sure I’ll be amazed and wait for this new mixture

Being critical and disappointed is one thing but being disrespectful and toxic is another (and I'm calling that out when I see a pattern). It's not like our team is particularly excited when they find out a bug and we have to push a release.

Thanks for keeping us informed. I can't wait. I've been reworking my project templates in anticipation lol

    Thanks for the information.

Personally, I prefer Ni's team to find the bug than myself.

A few more days to wait is not death.

I also say that because I have almost no bugs on my M+, only the audio crackles on startup.

I have about twenty extensions, I always work in stand-alone and on external battery, and everything works perfectly even at more than 80% cpu load.

But we don't all work the same way.

For everyone having CPU load issues, I have been able to avoid the issue by having an fx bus/ group on layer 2 and a "master Sum" group on layer 2. Using the channel routing Im able to use aux 1 to "send" audio to fx bus. The fx bus is routed to the "master Sum" and all groups from layer 1 are routed to "master Sum"."master Sum" is routed to Master and All my major mixing/mastering plugins are on "master Sum". Which enables me to see everything in the mixer. This helps to verify your not clipping.

Do you mean that you experienced a temporary glitch when loading content during playback? That happens to me quite often, but such load glitches also occur to me during playback when using my DAW, I kind of expect them to occur. I dont count these as performance issues; I certainly never intend to load any plugins on the fly when playing a gig, for example.

I feel you and learned this the hard way too. Nobody’s perfect and no one will ever be you know. From your point of view and knowing how tech has gone more and more proprietary with more and more updates from this that breaks that it makes things tricky, I guess we all have to deal with that. Though there will always be people who think you have to pay for air and water , still good work must be rewarded. A bug that ruin your work is a shame but a bug that saves you from a nuclear war is a blessing (I hope iam not toxic here 😉).

benn using maschine with bugs since the very beginning and have always been ableto make music. Thanks for your great work and patience!

No, when I loaded a simple stock Maschine kit I got that terrible CPU crunch until I twiddled the interface knob in the Audio Menu. It doesn't happen every time and usually for larger projects and groups. It is both encouraging and discouraging that others are not having the same issues.

Your answer is reassuring, thank you for taking the time for it. After 18 months of instability issues let’s really hope the upcoming fixes are a bit more than a “kernel update” as advertised in this announcement.

😀 Take your time Native Instruments, if the Update is astonish ( i said astonish, not perfect, the .1/ /.2 /.3... are made for that and we all use to do often updates) nobody will blame you.

But let's hope, NI, that you won't keep all the good user ideas, needs, and new features etc...For the Maschine + V2...Whereas the V1 could technically do and have it. Yes I'm a dreamer. 🙄

PS : As a lot, I 'm personnaly not interested nabout invert chord and autosampling, and even if autosave can be cool when it crash ( wait It will still crash ? ) I really hope that it won't be the only add.

It would be so nice to see one or two very good surprises from the most requisted on the list....

If you still have recurrent crashes after the update, please reach out to me via DM. We'll get this to one of our specialists to check.
