Does anyone else have problems with volume fluctuations in the traktor software?

I’m a victim as well on this topic. Hello all, I am experiencing random spikes on random songs every time I re-boot. Songs that misbehaves volume wise were re-analyzed on the spot and produced same location of spiked volume. My OS is updated with latest as usual and audio diagnostic check by Windows shows no error. I disabled all other audio programs that may impact performance and same results. Also, these spikes are huge and VERY discomforting to the ears. This issue has been ongoing for over 2 months now. NI please help.

I am another victim from this issue when playing M4A files. I updated my Win PC to Windows 11 in August and since then it is a disaster: volume levels are inconsistent between songs and on some of them there are random spikes that are really uncomfortable for the ears. As a DJ it is really annoying when people look "startled" at you during the party.
After reading all comments I "kept the faith" and opened a Ticket to Native Instruments: basically they acknowledged the bug and provided the "workaround to convert to MP3" ... without providing any info on a potential bug fix or date for it. Really disappointing .... I am afraid NI will lose several customers if they dont release a fix soon. Here is the internal Bug ID at NI for info in case you want to interact with them: TP-17633 - Gain inconsistencies loading some m4a on Windows 11 latest version

Well you can't switch software, as all other DJ software have the same problem. (Except Djuced, who released their own encoder plugin.)

Before using Traktor controller and software, I used an Akai AMX controller delivered with a Serato license. As I still have the controller I have reinstalled and updated the Serato software on Windows 11 (which has a QuickTime plug-in). When I played the M4A files it worked like a charm.

Personally I find that in a year or maybe even more, no one will talk to us or consult us... (Corona? no kidding!) Interesting attitude, I can only congratulate .... Congratulations NI!

Thank you for all your replies and the link to windows. I am just a unprofessional DJ and do not understand all the posts here, but somehow happy to not be alone with this issue. I don´t know exactly what it means that a fix will go out into retail, but I hope this will be helpful. What a it is a incredibly disappointing experience with NI 😓 Could you please post any information about this, as soon as it is available @lord-carlos? Thank you 😊

I don't have any m4a files, so I will not notice it.
I can just say what the Microsoft guy said:
The fix is not yet in Windows, and won't be until February. It's only currently in the Windows Insider Canary channel builds.

From what I just read, Windows Insiders can get the fix already, and it'll be Feb for everyone else.
