Experiencing problems with Traktor Pro 3.5.8 - Whats the best and stable version?

Hello, good afternoon. I have a Macbook Pro 13" 2.5ghz core i5 8gb ram 1333mhz, I have a Traktor S4 mk3 and I'm using Traktor Pro 3.5.8. In the audio settings I have 48000khz 512 samples and after some time mixing and browsing folders the cpu usage bar starts to rise and I start to experience some glitches. In the audio settings I already lowered it to 44000khz and it improves slightly. Can anyone help me with the best version of Traktor Pro 3 to use on my Mac so that the program runs smoothly?

It has nothing to do with "best version", it is either your audio device, either your CPU are not powerful enough.

For start, use 1024 instead of 512 samples and update Traktor to newest version.

I assume you are using the S4 mk3 audio drivers and not some generic ones

Thanks for your answer. I use de s4 mk3 audio drivers, Mac does that by itself i guess. I think this version could be "heavier" for my mac. Thats why i ask for a best or a stable version.

I have sierra osx. I think is best to use 3.4.2

The newest version shoud be heavier than the one i have installed. Don't you think?
