There is latching layers system inside the K2, look it up.

Otherwise you will nee to set a modifier inside Controller Manager.

I made 4-deck internal mixer with VU that you might like, look it up on Google also.

I'm not recommending to use latching layers. Better to use custom made mapping with modifiers. You can have different colors on every layer with modifiers.

Here is mine A and B decks (i have two K2's) mapping. OP author can try to debug how SHIFT (lower right button) and LAYERS (lower left button) modifiers works in Traktor. It's a very useful thing.
